Thanks for proposing a talk for RORO Sydney!

Please provide the following information:

How to succeed as a junior engineer (what they don't teach you!)

Brief summary of the talk content

  • some of the lessons I learnt from being a graduate and junior engineer
  • including technical and non-technical tips and tricks that helped me learn Ruby
  • might focus on:
    • coding discipline
    • my TDD process
    • how to get the most out of your seniors
    • how to understand what your team is actually working on
    • some good and bad things I see in other juniors
    • how to not drown
