Lord of the Stars 1.4 - artifact leveling broken

Describe the bug

Reported by MeGa-wise on Newgrounds:

"After you kill a boss you get artifact (there are 4 bosses and 4 artifacts) that you can develop by putting stars in, but you cannot anymore, you can only place stars in the items you start the game with."

Expected behavior

Should be able to place stars items you didn't start the game with.
