Themes Playground not working in Firefox

Hey @rydmike and community,
I am just wondering if it is just me who is having an issue accessing or trying to use the playground app in Firefox.
I have often been using Safari or Brave the last couple of months, but wanted to raise it up now to see if I could understand if it is a bug or something.

PS even with any and all Ad blockers disabled in Firefox, it fails. But with ad blockers enabled in Safari and Brave it works without an issue.

When I try to load the app, it just shows a loading animation, then a blank page. Checking the web developer console, I am returned with;

Running the app through the latest Firefox version 113.0.2(64 bit) on Mac OS Ventura 13.3.
But it has not been working for numerous previous versions of Firefox.

Kindly let me know your thoughts or offer solutions as I would love to continue using Firefox(as it is my main browser) and not switch to other browsers for just one app.

Not sure why you are seeing that issue. Clearly an issue, no argument there.

I normally don't use Firefox, but I just downloaded and installed it on my MacBook, using OS Ventura 13.4. Then using Firefox 114.0.1 (64-bit), it started up Themes Playground v7-1 quite nicely.

Generally though, there is basically nothing I can do about any of the Javascript code that Flutter makes when it builds the Web version of the Flutter ThemesPlayground app.

Most I can do is select if it uses the html or canvaskit renderer. Currently it is built with canvaskit renderer only, on all platforms as its fidelity and speed is much better.

The download is cached locally, so maybe if there was some error in it, that might be an issue, but I'm sure you tried clearing cache and getting it to download the app again.

Out of curiosity, does using any of the different and older versions make any difference for you?

Version 7.0 is the only release using html renderer btw, due to the issue that existed in Flutter 3.7.

Sorry I'm afraid there is not much else I can think of.

If anybody else reads this and has good suggestions they are welcome.

Okay hey @rydmike So it does work when use the main browser. But it doesn't work in PrivateBrowsing mode.
So I guess I will just not use Private Browsing mode. Thanks

Ok thanks for the additional info. I will see if there is any info available on known issues with private mode browsing and Flutter web apps on different browsers, and try it myself too.

There is currently 0 collection by me in the app, or via trackers about who visits and does what in the app. It is hosted as a static site on GitHub Pages, so whatever they do, is there I guess.

I think it only applies to Firefox's private browsing thus far in my testing.
Also given my tendency to make use of Firefox's aggressive privacy tools that could be something that blocks it all.

In all I think it is just a very niche case that won't apply to everyone, so please don't expend precious time and resources on this if 99% of people use it with no issue.
Let it go to other areas of improvement of this wonderful package and tool you have created. Thanks again
