I am using my university wifi, and simply turning on portmaster will cause internet to stop working. I know what we are using a program called Cloudpath which is used to authenticate the wifi connection. I suspect that there is a conflict with it somewhere.

What worked?
shutting down portmaster fixes the issue.
using a different wifi network, like a home wifi or mobile hotsopt works.

What did not work?
tried every setting. allowing all incoming and outgoing connection, disable dns cache, etc.

Debug Information:
I would prefer to share the logs privately. let me know how I should do this.

Hey @advait404, thank you for reporting on a compatibility.

We keep a list of compatible software and user provided guides for improving compatibility in the wiki - please have a look there.
If you can't find your software in the list, then a good starting point is our guide on How do I make software compatible with Portmaster.

If you have managed to establish compatibility with an application, please share your findings here. This will greatly help other users encountering the same issues.

As a side note, I was previously using the nextdns client and simplewall on the university wifi, and was not having this issue.

It is disabled by default, but you might have changed this.

I think I have figured out the issue.
I am able to have a wifi connection with portmaster enabled (Ignore System/Network Servers was already at the default value), however after hibernating my device it failed to conenct to the internet properly. I had to restart portmaster and reconnect to the wifi to get it working, and even then it's a bit unstable.
