Using the latest version of Topaz(v4.2.0) and TopazVideoPauser-x64.zip posted 1/16/24 the pause and resume button do work, but once Topaz is paused, the UI freezes. Unpausing it does not unfreeze the UI. If left alone, Topaz will finish generating the video. The UI still does not unfreeze after that, and the only thing that can be done is to kill the process in the Task Manager and restart Topaz. The ability to pause is great, but you no longer know how long it will take to finish with the video.

Thanks for report, what is status of Topaz Video AI.exe process in Task Manager Details tab after you tried to resume it? Running or Suspended?

I just tried this program and while it did cause the UI to freeze when paused, it unfroze when I unpaused it.

That's expected, UI will be froze on pause

I just encountered this issue as well on version 5.3.1 of Video AI, and checking in Task Manager for the exe process shows suspended status despite the pauser not paused and high CPU usage from ffmpeg process for which I'm assuming it's actually still processing despite the frozen UI.

Not sure if it might be related due to pause duration or some other factor. When I was initially checking the pause function it worked fine and the UI wasn't freezing. However after freezing for multiple hours and doing other resource intensive tasks on my PC I went back to unpause it and that's when I noticed the UI was still frozen.
