This add-on needs per domain/sub-domain profiles that can be customized, saved and re-edited.

Take just going to the Firefox add-ons website. You must disable two settings (related to cookies and permanent storage of cookies). If I forget (AND I DO), then you are continue with a weakened browser.

First, as per Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension (if I remember), the defaults for the Firefox website need to maintain (some) default settings.

Second, there should be a global option set to "Full Privacy".

Third, for individual websites/domains/sub-domains, it should be possible to customize, save and later re-edit the settings. In particular, it can be very time-consuming to find the working settings for a website. To be unable to save these settings, and have them automatically used next time is a burden.

Fourth, it would be nice if saved settings might be shareable through a website which can be loaded and used locally if desired. It would be nice to have a notication that there are shared settings available for ta site, the ability to inspect and then load the settings, modify/tinker, and save them locally (and possibly suggest the changes you have made.

If I may, and I do not mean to put your work down (frankly yours is more comprehensive and may be better designed, though I have no programming knowledge to judge), but I would ike to see that features are incorporated from the UI for uMatrix (or perhaps uBlock Origins). Checkbox work better in my view than sliders. Two columns (of checkboxes) of settings, global and local, is highly needed.

If you are set on sliders, could we have an option for checkboxes?

I will cross-post this request to Privacy Control which is far more need of these kind of changes.

see #117 also - i think that is somewhat related to what you're requesting?
