Did you know you npm can install packages with .git endpoints that aren't published to the npm registry, like this project?

It's as fun as: npm install https://github.com/scotch-io/scotch-panels.git to get the latest from this repo into your projects node_modules dir. This would probably be a more future-forward approach than forking the repo and publishing your fork bc now keeping that updated if/when this project picks back up is 100% on you.
