Use of overflow proporty

Even if not necessary the use of overflow auto inserts scrollbars for x and y directions
The unused disapears when clicking in the list, but it is too late....!
I cannot control the height of the list.which is too litttle in particlar for supporting the x scrollbar.
Overflow -y is not supported.
Unusing this property (cf the issue about maxHeight)
