Version number reset?

I had been using this package in a project for a little over a year, but recently when I tried updating dependencies it told me that version 4.3.4 was no longer valid.

It appears as though everything about this package has been wiped/restarted, but I can't find any mention of this anywhere in the repo (though some remnants of the old version still exist -- Google's cache still shows version 4.3.4 in search results)

Just wondering -- what was the reason for completely wiping the old version and breaking package installation for any projects relying on it?
