EOL for COPS - Wiki update #528

Thanks @horus68 I've also posted a message on the linuxserver.io forum to let them know the fork is available... |
I didn't see the forum post, but I see this :D someone was just giving me some sass for deprecating our image and then i stumbled on this. Not committing to anything, but I'll pay attention to things |
That would be good, thanks @drizuid I've had several people ask about updating the linuxserver docker image, and I've prepared a draft docker/Dockerfile.linuxserver you could use as a starting point.... |
|
maybe @bcleonard could also join on docker container for COPS |
Are there any plans to host/create a headless calibre server? |
Since COPS is pretty much what I consider a headless Calibre server, I
don't think I understand your question.
I built a Home Assistant add-on that runs COPS in a container - you just
need to point it at a Calibre library folder (which can be local or a
network share). Is that cost t to what you are thinking of?

i've unarchived but not changed the master branch at all. I have a new branch called mikespub right now which is pending review from the rest of my team to merge my PR (all the changes). I'll update this once I have more info |
@mikespub https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-cops |
Thanks @drizuid that's good news indeed :-) |
I've updated the Wiki to include an EOL notice for the original COPS software has the author no longer maintained the seblucas-cops project.
Also included a link to the Mike's fork (so people can find where to collaborate now).

Note: I can edit the Wiki for the seblucas/cops here https://github.com/seblucas/cops/wiki
