To join a community, you have to paste the URL in session after having clicking the "join a community" button.
In order to help people to adapt to SESSION chat, there shall be a way to interact with the application from a web browser like joining a group or contacting someone in 1 click.
This could be like registering a URI like "session://...." that would open session and join a group or a contacr.
Let's say you have session installed on your phone or computer, you are reading a page on a web browser, and there a link to click to join a session browser, you click the link, and it opens directly session to add the community.
This also would help migrating people using other chat system to SESSION.

Hi, would it be possible to allow the session:// alone to work ?
We would need it for basic user experience, to open app or desktop and copy its Session ID
I think this simple URI scheme would not make a security issue
Is there an existing request for feature?
What feature would you like?
