I stumbled upon a case on my movie today, where I had to quickly figure out the total dialogue length of a character. I had no way to get this number fast. I and can't see why we couldn't.

The idea behind this feature is to have a "live" link between the storyboard fountain stat panel and a spreadsheet on google drive. That way the stats can be updated in near real time while rewriting / adjusting / pitching inside storyboard fountain.

Having updated data in a spreadsheet form (or spread on several forms) allows to do some budgeting/analytics live that are not within the purpose/reach of storyboard fountain. By adding forms a google drive document, using standard cell linking we can have an always up to date budget plan, accurate character information for scheduling, and so on.

The idea would be to have form(s) with these informations :

for the screenplay:
Total length
Number of scenes
Number of characters
Number of locations
Number of day scenes
Number of night scenes

for each characters:
Number of scenes
Number of talking scenes
On screen time
Dialogue time
Day time
Night time
Interior time
Exterior time
List of locations
List of interactions with other characters
List of props
List of all dialogues

for each location:
Number of scenes
On screen time
Number of Day shots
Number of Night shots
Number of Interior shots
Number of Exterior shots
List of character interactions
List of props

héhé :) The idea was to expose more data than in the stat panel itself. I guess that copy/pasting can break some formulas / not that convenient. Maybe an export stats to csv ?
