I've been using this extension pretty consistently for debugging, but today it was automatically turned off in Chrome with these messages.

Message in Manage Extensions:

This extension was turned off because it is no longer supported
Chrome recommends that you remove it.

Message in Chrome Web Store:

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

Unfortunately, this plugin which I used quite a bit over the years in my work is no longer viable due to some underlying framework changes in Chrome's extension functionality.

I attempted to recreate a Firefox equivalent of the extension with a couple new features, and in React. The link follows--note that this is relatively new and doesn't have a huge testing base, so you may come across some bugs:

Thanks @jcoyle37 for picking up the torch on this one. After a few failed attempts to get the same functionality with manifest V3, this project has hit the back burner for me. Moving to Firefox is a good choice
