New BAC search features are available, with a first
set of search criteria, currently searching 249,880
high-quality BAC end sequences from 173,184 BACs from
three tomato genomic libraries (HindIII, MboI, and EcoRI).

A new comparative mapviewer is available on SGN that allows to
compare all the maps that can be viewed with the traditional
mapviewer, but in a comparative mode. The marker pages have
also been updated and present all the information on one

A new pepper map, <a href="/maps/pepper_korea/index.pl">SNU2</a>, is
available on SGN. The map was submitted by Prof Kim of the
Seoul National Univeristy in Korea.</p>

Overgo Plates</a> have now been loaded. Overall, <a href=

are now anchored to the F2.2000 genetic map. Additionally, we
have added an <a href=
"/maps/physical/list_overgo_plate_probes.pl">Overgo
Plate browser</a> and an <a href=

page</a> describing the Overgo Plating process.</p>
