need help for creating ova file

Hello, I used the script of this repository to create alpine.ova. But the ova file I generated cannot be used in esxi. The generated vmdk needs to be converted twice through vmkfstools. Do you need any special operations? The ova I downloaded from your release can be directly imported into esxi.
