Gave it a quick shot trying to isolate those commits in a fresh branch for merging back. Unfortunately, it is still not obvious to me what exactly you want and what not (e.g. want the BadAss stuff or not?). Again, I am sure a quick audio conversation helps. Not sure who (other than you) is interested. Personally, I am after low hanging fruit for the most part.
