I looked at https://github.com/shreevatsa/sanskrit/tree/master/data, but could not make out which is the current dataset from which the metres are compared.

Hi,

Sorry for the mess. I have also forgotten the organization but looking at the code (here), it uses data from these four files: 1, 2, 3, 4.

I think there may be some oddities in the code that loads these patterns—when the "same" or a similar pattern is detected more than once, it may be ignoring the latter one, or something like that—but these are the sources used. Hope this helps…
