Update existing app sync using appId #612

According to documentation available here https://www.serverless.com/plugins/serverless-appsync-plugin there is a provision to update an existing app sync by passing in the appId.

Unfortunately it seems to be not working and wondering if it is still supported with v2.

Can you kindly assist here if I have understood things incorrectly here.
