Campaigns are still fairly bare-bones and designs have floated around to add campaign scheduling but have fallen off the radar several times. Hopefully, this issue can re-ignite the direction again for campaign scheduling (or release and end dates).
The main functionality is that a launch date/time can be specified and that this can set to automatically publish if desired.
An end date can also be specified but there isn't any functionality associated to it other than providing CMS authors more context.
@brynwhyman@clarkepaul This is a separate roadmap item, and fairly substantial - I don't think we should cover this as part of the Experience Debt epic
@chillu I mentioned the same thing in the Epic "Campaign enhancements" that it isn't part of Experience Debt. I think it was something that wasn't deleted after sorting all the experience items out of the epic.
