after an install, I got the following error

[Emergency] Uncaught SilverStripe\GraphQL\Schema\Exception\SchemaBuilderException: Failed to apply plugin SilverStripe\CMS\GraphQL\LinkablePlugin to readPages. Got error "Plugin getByLink cannot be applied to queries that return lists. Query "readPages" is a list"

This issue is resolved in 4.x-dev of CMS module by this commit:
silverstripe/silverstripe-cms@f3a76cc
