Crashing and deleting OF DL.exe. #627
Comments
For the deletion of the OF DL.exe usually that's caused by an antivirus software or Windows Security, so if you have an antivirus I would white list the program or temporarily disable to see if it deletes the OF DL.exe / this could also be what's causing the crash of the program if it's deleting the program as well |
If it's a current release, you'd get a prompt to press a key before it exited if it was ofdl closing itself due to an error. That definitely sounds like an antivirus or such program crashing and quarantining it. |
I have the latest version downloaded and my windows security app still requires me to allow the software to run anyway, but i'm okay with it still works, |
I used the older version ofdl.exe and it works and the antivirus did not try to delete it |
So,
I have sucessfully authed.
Changed the config to point out where ffmpeg.exe is. And swapped \ to /.
But whenever I try to run it, it either instantly crashes.
Or I can see "signed in as" and then it crashes.
After 2-3 crashes, it also deletes my OF DL.exe. I then need to make a new folder, and try again, with the new path. But it still keeps crashing...
