When doing a BackUp - manually or automatically - ioBroker always restarts.
It is always when copying the BackUp-Files to my WebDav directory hosted via Nextcloud.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start BackUp
  2. Wait for crash while copying influxDB back up file (1.1GB)

Locally all data is there, back up works when not copying to WebDav

BackUp.log
2025_01_24-backitup.0.json

Versions:

  • Adapter version: 3.0.31
  • JS-Controller version: 7.0.6
  • Node version: 20.18.1
  • Operating system: Debian based LXC on Proxmox VE

Hi,
the maximum file size for my Nextcloud is 10GB in General but I do not know if it is different for WebDAV and all I found was inconclusive. I ran into this problem after migrating my Server from a native install on a Raspi to the ProxmoxVE. For the Transfer I used the same WebDAV-Server - with a file path a bit shorter (not much) and it worked.
I also noticed the missing slash, changed it, but it did not help. And interesting as well: when checking the connection within the backitup adapter it always said OK, even with the slash missing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What does your RAM say? The 1.1 GB are loaded into the RAM

I will have to check tomorrow.
Cheers!

More RAM did the trick. Allocated 6GB instead of 4GB and the backup went through successfully. Thank you very much for your efforts!
