I plan to make an assembly variant of Fastino with fewer channels and MCX outputs.
The MCX outputs will be added as a simple mezzanine plugged directly into IDC connectors.
With two such mezzanines, one can assemble Fastino with 8 MCX outputs and 16 MCX outputs.
That will eliminate existing adapters in most use cases.
For applications that require 32 MCX connectors, we have a new mSAS-MCX fanout box

Something like https://github.com/sinara-hw/HD68_BNC_Breakout for msas and mcx would be really nice. We've had good success with it. It avoids having to machine an enclosure, is heavy and high density enough to not whip around. Alternatively an 8 channel version that supports ganging up (i.e. msas on the short PCB edge).
It would also be interesting to see whether the 32 channels can be routed to the rtm.
I know. But as mentioned, I think it would be good to (1) support usage without the box the same way as the HD68 adapter, (2) with the mSAS on the short edge, and (3) with an eye on ganging up multiple (specifically 4) boards for ergonomic usage.
