Skewer relies on js2-mode's AST. As far as I'm aware, js2-mode is not
compatible with web-mode, which means Skewer is not compatible with
web-mode.

So, I'm guessing html-mode is compatible with js2-mode?...because skewer works in that case.

Sorry, I was only thinking of the JavaScript part of Skewer, which is
the primary focus. I believe skewer-html-mode and skewer-css-mode should
generally work correctly regardless of the major mode, since neither
require a complex AST.
