Reposition ripple source

I'd like to be able to move the source location from the center to the left side but still have it ripple all the way to the right.

I know this is a super old question and all, but did you ever fix this issue?

I haven't been following this but an alternative I recently did was just use a standard ripple button and manually trigger the ripple effect on that. You can set where the ripple starts with that.
