See details https://wordpress.org/support/topic/use-of-shortcode-in-page?replies=1

I am using as shortcode to display a list of articles with a category created for this group. When I save the page, it converts the shotcode into final html and saves that html, not the shortcode. Therefore the content is not dynamically displayed. Is there a way to use a shortcode on a page that will run when the page displays so that the content is dynamic.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/stop-shortcodes-firing-when-editing-page/#post-8250795

I have a problem when editing pages that I have created, you see, I am using shortcodes to display extra information and when I go to edit the page the shortcodes are firing and messing up the edit page to the extent that save no longer works.
My only option is to delete the page and start again, which is not good for my group managers.

If you go back to a page you created that has shortcodes in it, it renders the shortcodes when you load the page.
I need to shortcodes to stay as shortcodes when I return to edit the page.
I can add them at the creation of the page, but when I return to edit the page, I get this issue.

Hi slaFFik, I really like your plugin. However, one 'killer' feature is missing, which is the possbility to add shortcodes that stay shortcodes when saving the page (so not convert to HTML). That way, it would be possible in a group to display e.g. a GravityView table or a list of entries created with a different plugin. There is one alternative that can do this (an extension of ProfileGrid, https://profilegrid.co/extensions/custom-user-profile-tabs-content/), but ProfileGrid unfortunately has its limitations.
