search api for launchers/other apps

this app looks really cool but right now we are forced to open the app and do the search.

it would be nice if we could use a launcher that for example searches for contacts or messages, that launcher could plug into this api for the app and show results without opening the app.

then something like tasker and like apps could search apps and an idea would be to filter results based on confidence score and show only top results, there are a lot of possiblities
