I'm using Fedora 20 with Smart, and sometimes when I request it to install a package, the whole package manager stops responding and never comes out of it. I'd include error messages/dumps, but there don't seem to be any I'm aware of. It's been doing this since version 1.4, AFAICS.

I'm afraid that Smart isn't supported on Fedora any longer (if ever).

Possibly the default repositories are now too big for it too handle ?

I don't think that's it, as Smart 1.3 has no problem handling the full collection of repositories. But 1.3's search is broken, and I was hoping to upgrade to a later version to fix that.
