Listing off some maps that present interesting edge cases
Most of maps load correctly in their associated games, so we should support them, quirks and all.

Others are broken in interesting ways that make for fun trivia imo

PenguinBoy (creator of Sledge) suggested ripent as a tool that might've been used to make this edit.

The DDayNormandy maps are from a GitHub archive, it's a bit messy in places
Already made a Discussion /Issue about trying to recover them
Might look into making a pull request deleting them, just to help clean up the test

Jabroni Brawl Episode 3/jbep3/maps/jb_fof_depot.bsp

A port of a Fistful of Frags map (done w/ CS:GO / jbep3's tools according to dev MuteZero)
The static prop model names have garbage data after the main string, works fine if you stop parsing at the first null char
Loads fine in-game also, tho the console complains about "rebuilding the map" in relation to cubemaps

Just like Earl says: "It's OK to have garbage data if you don't read it".

Counter Strike: Online 2 & Vindictus (both Nexon games) have mixed formats
These maps appear in the same maps folder, but have identical version numbers
Modders for both games have often been sighted wishing for ports.

This ties into #17 & is also the reason why cso2_2018 & nexon.vindictus69 exist

Some quake rerelease maps are models w/ the bsp extension
Specifically the bsps used for pickups
There’s an Admer video out there showing off nested bsp rendering

The current mp_lobby test map for Quake 3 is secretly the Quake Live format
A header for ADVERTISMENTS is included, with a length of 0 bytes
Quake 3 can load this fine though, as it simply never reads the header
But it breaks signature detection (#109)
Older q3map2 versions might avoid this

Half-Life 2 includes d2_coast02.bsp which is 0 bytes in size
The Xbox360 version of The Orange Box does not include this map

Also, the Xbox360 Orange Box has 17 chapters, rather than PC's 15
