Doesn't actually delete anything

I select some files, Show selection, Delete selected images, Confirm image delete, and it goes back to the main image selection screen, but the images I deleted still exist.

Ah I guess this is only on SD card. It works on internal storage. So it needs to pop up that permission screen that says 'ALLOW ACCESS TO "SD CARD"'?

I'm on Android 10, FloydQ custom ROM, Samsung S7

Possibly a stale issue by now.

• Image deletion runs as a background task (with an indicator in the task bar).
• If permissions prohibit deletion, the app will indeed not show anything (exactly because the deletes run as a separate background task)

I'm currently (forced to) changing the permission scheme to adhere to Googles newest policy. This should also take care of any permission issues.
