'Unexpected token' error - brackets needed in url #348

I'm trying to feed in a URL which, unfortunately, has opening and closing brackets in it. when I try and produce a QR code with it I get a syntax error saying unexpected token, pointing out the bracket.

Is there a chance this could be updated to support these characters?
