I think we need to do two things to get started making sure our site is accessible:

  1. We should check the code that we already have for accessibility, perhaps there is someone who has expertise in this area, or otherwise we should do the best we can to make improvements using whatever resources we have--should we start with WCAG, or is there another organization that lists best practices;
  2. We should work on creating a set of standard practices for checking all our commits for accessibility.
