I don't know if it is possible with the official software...

We haven't any software update when we change a setting on the device.
It can lead confusing situation and errors.

I don't see any sent sysex from the Drumbrut impact or Keystep 32 when changing a setting so i doubt about the feasibility.

Thank you a lot for this tool that open lot of new usage of theses devices with linux !
