I was wondering if there was a way to get a distribution from FEEPS data like the distribution from FPI using the mms_getspec routine. Mms_getspec allows you to also plot in units of df_cm, and I’m trying to do the same thing with the FEEPS data since I need to analyze the distribution for higher energies.

This feature is not available in either IDL or Python. We can only make 3d distributions from FPI or HPCA data. I'm not sure the publicly available FEEPS data includes all the information we'd need to create distribution functions. I asked Christine G if she has any ideas on that.
