I started work on Leantime as a small side project to manage my freelance clients. Once engulfed in startup culture, and building with Gloria, we realized that we couldn't find anything out there that made moving from our ideas into tangible results easy.

And poof here we are.

I decided to open source Leantime to give back to the community that helped me so much on my path as developer, entrepreneur and lately program manager. Leantime is for the self starter, the dreamer, the company that would like to innovate effectively and efficiently. It is the culmination of my experience with startups and corporate software development.

The community is what makes this project a passion project of mine. Over the last year, I have had the pleasure to work with many contributors and collaborate on great ideas and we aim to continue to grow with the open source community as Leantime grows into a company.
