Open source software takes a lot of time and effort, not only to develop but also to:

• reproduce issues
• write documentation
• help you
• answer questions
• architecture solution
• and so on.

What costs do I have?

• Cost of living (internet, electricity, food, coffee, etc.)
• Software licences
• Hardware: computer, phones,... As I want to add new features such as support for more audio and video (AV1) codecs, format, features (HDR), etc, I have to acquire new expensive phones.
• The time: time is money I could spend my time on paid project instead of contributing to open source project.
