I'm a big believer in free, accessible education and I hope to do my small part in getting us closer to that vision.

I create long-form programming tutorials on YouTube, with topics ranging from React and web3 development, to building Python packages, or building apps on the PyScript stack, or learning data visualization from scratch, and many other things I find fascinating (cryptography, OpenCV, ElasticSearch on Docker, Math, more Math) and the likes).

That is on top of almost three full-time jobs, at @teamalgoritma, at @supertypeai and at Adaro group of companies and a handful of social / not-for-profit projects or communities where I'm the lead initiator or a key moderator. Outside of these work obligations, I guest lecture and contribute to the small corner of open source ecosystem where Python developers lurk.

Most of video lessons are around the 1-hour range, with accompanying code templates in one of my GitHub repositories. Outside of creating long form lessons, I also run a few social projects where I try to coach and mentor others that are on this journey. I do most of these work free of charge -- this is a deliberate design on my part. I realize I have been rather fortunate to live my days out doing what I love, and I want others to be able to do the same for themselves. More importantly, I live in Indonesia 🇮🇩 where a majority of people lack real access to high-quality education and work opportunities. I try to do a small part in making education more equitable, more accessible and your donation means I can dedicate even more hours to that goal -- providing quality education that is truly educational with no pressure of monetizing from ads through click-baity, eyeball-maximization, views-driven nonsense.
