I've encountered a rather odd issue that was resolved simply by exiting the game and reopening it. So far, I’ve run into it only once.

I don’t think it’s easy to reproduce, nor do I remember if I did anything unusual. As far as I recall, the steps were:

Play a GBA game
Save (in-game)
Power off (while the game was still running)
Power back on (this was a day later)

I know this may not be very helpful, but I wanted to point out that the issue disappeared after just exiting and reopening the game.

This is so weird! I have literally no idea what would cause this.

Probably safe to just install fresh and see if the behavior happens again
