First, I'd like to express my gratitude for creating this excellent plugin. I'm particularly enjoying the Calendar tab feature.
Proposed Feature
I would like to request a new functionality for the Calendar tab:
Implement the ability to open date or week notes in a new tab by using Ctrl+Click (or Cmd+Click for Mac users) on the respective date or week in the Calendar view.
Use Case
This feature would allow users to quickly reference multiple dates or weeks without losing their place in the current note or disrupting their workflow. It would be especially useful when comparing information across different dates or weeks.
Benefits
Improved navigation and multitasking within the journal
Enhanced user experience by allowing simultaneous viewing of multiple dates/weeks
Consistency with common note browsing behavior, where Ctrl+Click typically opens links in new tabs

That a good point
I did not think about this as there was a setting in journals that allowed to configure how you open note - same tab, new tab, next to active note or in popup window.
But now thinking about it - what you suggest seem to be better user experience. And it should also extend to code blocks.
At the same it makes the setting not so much needed. Except probably from command/shortcuts - and as they get configurable in v2, I'll probably move the setting to command level.
