How to connect to the internet #34

Apparently, no one has had the nerve to bring this up, but I want to be able to connect to the Internet on this thing. So far, I’ve only seen people connect to BBSs with this thing. But one thing I want to know is: can it connect to TheOldNet’s servers?

Does not work on Windows 7 or higher. I have tried with "connection cable between two computers" and generic modems available in the driver list in each OS, changing between baud rates, but the RAS/DUN connection is never established through the PPP protocol.
Everything works fine at the serial console level.
