Right now we are bundling "g2d_driver.h" and "sunxi_disp_ioctl.h" headers, which carry a "GPLv2 or later" license notice. At the same time, we use libUMP library for Mali 400 support. And libUMP has "Apache v2" license. The combined result of linking everything together has to be GPLv3 according to http://www.apache.org/licenses/GPL-compatibility.html
So there is no obvious license incompatibility at the moment (we are rather lucky to deal with "GPLv2 or later" and not strictly "GPLv2"). But still being poisoned by GPL because of some simple headers seems to be wrong.
