Deepseek - Coder keeps referring to older code through comment strings like "previous code remains the same" while overwriting current files

It might apply to other models as well but I've only tried Deepseek - Coder and OpenAI 4o and so far I've never had that issue with 4o but Deepseek often refers to older code by comment string while rewriting the whole file which ends up in a failed project.
When trying to restore to earlier state from chat history it has lost context except that from chat history and ends up rebuilding certain files etc and then you're left with a broken project and lots of unused components and/or failed references.
