Bug

As you can see from the screen shot below, there are some strange icons appearing when another sends a message with an apostrophe: '

Acceptance Criteria

  • I've tested locally on my desktop
  • I've posted a video recording of me clicking an icon in the PR

@tomsmith8 could you reproduce this? I tried on my end but no luck yet

@tomsmith8 this one looks like it's more complicated than it seems. I went ahead and tested it myself and do not see it. My research indicates that it may be related to setup. Can you please indicate your OS version + mac model #?

I wonder if its a strange character when the sender copies and pastes from another writing tool?
