It seems that the ebnm version 1.1-26 cannot be found. Is there a mistake in the description?

Error: package 'ebnm' 1.1.2 was found, but >= 1.1.26 is required by 'gbcd'
Execution halted

Thank you for your reply !

@mumdark Thanks for your interest in gbcd. You can find the latest version of ebnm on GitHub.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have successfully downloaded the corresponding R package on Github.

The packages flashier, ebnm and fastTopics all have similar issues. It might help to include include error instructions to assist other users with similar issues.

@mumdark Thanks for the feedback. I would expect that running remotes::install_github("stephenslab/gbcd") should automatically install the latest version of ebnm from GitHub, which is what we suggested doing in the README. Is that what you ran in R?

Thank you for your response!

There isn’t actually any error, most users may simply choose option 3 during installation and overlook the built-in installation path:

For the R package fastTopics, selecting option 1 to install the latest default version from CRAN also causes issues on my computer:

I have successfully installed the GBCD package.

Thanks!
