I've been having trouble with powertop --auto-tune being run on boot when my wireless mouse/keyboard dongle is installed at boot. It basically turns on powersave on the dongle and makes using the keyboard and mouse very frustrating as first input is lost if I haven't used either for a minute or so. I'd recommend dropping this and instead adding services to turn off laptop-only devices as suggested by powertop. I've done this already, I might be able to provide a list if peple are interested?

@luispabon You can find a lot here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management . I looked into it and decided to apply none of the 4 tweaks that were suggested by powertop (after checking that page for all suggestions).
The situation you're describing is mentioned here : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management#USB_autosuspend
