Vine VNC getting stuck on Mac os Mojave #30

In the latest mac os update vine vnc is getting stuck / image is unclear for some reason.
Tried to delete and reinstall with no luck, on High Sierra everything is working fine

to be more specific - it's happing on mac mini without any display connected just vine server up (without any authentication) the same setup works great on El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra

Try a headless EDID emulator dummy plug. Without an attached display it is possible that the mac is starting up without initialising the graphics card/internal graphics correctly. The dummy plug will emulate an attached monitor in a certain resolution and therefore the graphics card will always use the correct resolution and settings.

So you could fix the problem by using an EDID emulator dummy plug?

No, not directly but I know of situations where this solved issues related to this kind of problem. Not Mojave specific tho. Who knows what else is going on on the network or what is installed on the mac which could interfere. It's just an idea for a workaround.
