@Henrieke72 @jhoeffler and I briefly discussed file sharing at the end of the github issues webinar.

If I understand correctly, the Unix Home drive is the default so far.

One potential downside might be that the Unix drive is not available offline and thus may not be used on the train.

The GDWG also offers an ownCloud instance, which (like Dropbox) does sync for offline use (though this can also cause conflicts).

Should we standardise on ownCloud for HOAD @njahn82?

(As I mentioned earlier, I wrote up the {webdav} package in February to easily get data from R in and out of services such as ownCloud, so that should work pretty smoothly).

If that's alright with you @njahn82 I'll set this up and document it a bit.
