Editions often want to display more than a static serialization of a text but want to offer users a bit more flexibility in what they see. Oftentimes it is not handy to display all information at once because users get overwhelmed or see information they might not need but are interesting for specialized users.
Therefore, some projects implement a kind of display configuration or display options mechanism that e.g. enables users to switch certain features of the text on and off.
Is this a task for TIDO or should the website embedding TIDO deal with this?
Is there any preference for this yet? This feature will be relevant in the near future of the "VierWachen" project, and it would be great if you already had a tendency if this is a TIDO task or not.
Ping. This is relevant for EUPT as well, and stakeholders want this feature. As mentioned before, a tendency if this relevant for TIDO or not is sufficient.
This is aboslutely a TIDO feature I would say. It's also a larger feature. Which settings are need? How should we identify types of text parts in a generic way? I will add this to our MEKONG pad.
