Allow for a predefined list of users (based on Redmine's users) and predefined locations. Doing so will allow for easier reporting as to who has what equipment and where equipment is.

+1 for me!

Drop downs for users and locations (select from admin defined list) would be really useful.

I'm planning to use this as a means of logging _state_ of a piece equipment rather than location - state could be any one of

  • OK
  • Broken at customer
  • In production
  • Shipping
  • Scrapped
