What is the best way to send complex arguments to the JavaScript debugger

I'm trying to get dape to work by following the VSCode configurations that are specified on a project using a launch.json file. However, some of the options are complex. Specifically, https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-js-debug/blob/main/OPTIONS.md#sourcemappathoverrides

How do you encode this as an option when starting the debug session?
